This year, I had the incredible honour of being selected to participate in Showcase Ireland, the biggest international trade show for Irish craft and design. As a small business owner, I’m still in awe of the recognition this has brought to Stories by Ola and my handcrafted ceramics.
My pieces were/will be featured prominently in the official marketing materials, including the photocall and the opening day event “The Table, The Tree.” To see my work alongside that of established and emerging Irish designers was truly humbling.
But the excitement didn’t stop there! My Coastline plates, in their reimagined soft edge design, were selected for The Edit, a curated showcase of the most beautiful and innovative products at the show. I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news.
And if that wasn’t enough, I was also shortlisted for the Showcase 2024 Award, a prestigious recognition for the best Irish craft and design product of the year. I’m still pinching myself!
