Beachside Bud Vase

A little piece of the coast for your favourite blooms.

This handcrafted ceramic bud vase is designed for a single stem, a few freshly picked wildflowers, or dried grasses gathered on a seaside walk. Its softly tapered shape is simple, timeless and easy to style – equally at home on a windowsill, bedside table or dining table.

Each vase is handcrafted in my studio in North County Dublin, using warm speckled stoneware clay. The lower half is finished in a textured, sand-inspired glaze with a subtle tactile feel, while the upper part is glazed in soft sea blues, layered with delicate speckles that catch the light like sunlight dancing on the water.

Inspired by the colours and textures of the Irish coastline, each vase brings a quiet coastal feeling into your home. Beautiful on its own or displayed with a few seasonal stems, it’s a small piece designed to be enjoyed every day.

Originally designed as a summer tumbler, this piece found a new life as a beautiful bud vase. It can still be used for your favourite cold drinks – making it a versatile handmade piece for both your table and your home.
