Shaped slowly by hand in my studio at Ardgillan Castle, this Flow Bowl is crafted from speckled stoneware clay and glazed in a soft blend of pastel blues and sea greens. Inspired by the ebb and flow of the Irish tide, its fluid curves and gentle ripples feel like motion frozen in time.
The colours melt into one another like sea foam on wet sand, shifting subtly in the light. Delicate speckles peek through the glaze, grounding the bowl in the earthy texture of the clay beneath.
Designed as a statement piece – yet quiet enough to sit beautifully in any space – this bowl works as a centrepiece on your table, a showstopper for special meals, or a calm, sculptural moment on a shelf.
