Salt Jar with wooden spoon

New to the collection – but already feeling like a classic.

These simple, round salt jars are handbuilt in my studio at Ardgillan Castle, using speckled stoneware clay that gives each piece a soft, natural texture. Available in two finishes – off-white with gentle speckles, or a coastal-inspired turquoise glaze – they bring an easy charm to any kitchen shelf or table.

I designed them with everyday cooking in mind: wide enough to reach in with your fingers or the little wooden spoon that comes with each jar. Perfect for flaky sea salt, but also lovely for herbs, spices, or sugar – whatever you reach for often.

A small detail that makes cooking feel more intentional, more grounded. And if you’re anything like me, it’ll end up living on your counter full-time.

Each jar is handmade and slightly unique – part of the perfectly-imperfect charm of small-batch ceramics.
