This deep plate, shaped like a Christmas tree, is made from sandy, speckled stoneware and glazed in swirling shades of deep green and white. The marbled finish catches the light like snow resting on pine branches, turning a simple form into something quietly festive.
Each piece is handcrafted in my studio at Ardgillan Castle – from shaping, glazing, sanding, firing, to adding maker stamp – so no two are ever the same. It’s a winter keepsake made to hold more than food, small traditions, shared moments, and the warmth of a handmade Christmas.
